Bio
Stephen is the Chairman of KSN’s Litigation Department and the KSN Condominium Collections Management Committee. In these roles, he is responsible for strategic innovation, business process optimization, and overall performance optimization for both departments. He has been practicing law for over 20 years, most recently with Liberty Mutual Group and Safeco Insurance Company. At Liberty Mutual, Stephen handled all phases of complex litigation, including cases involving construction negligence, product liability, premises liability, breach of contract, and declaratory judgment actions. At Safeco, as Managing Attorney, he oversaw Safeco’s Chicago legal offices with 20 attorneys. Over the course of his distinguished legal career, Stephen has led or advanced numerous initiatives and projects, including the paperless legal office, evaluation of case matter management systems, development of litigation best practices, attorney telecommuting, staffing models, opening of new legal offices, and outsourcing. Stephen joined KSN in 2009.
