Bio
Upbeat, personable and results-oriented, Michael joined the KSN Litigation Department in 2007 where he represented community associations in all aspects of litigation. In 2010, Michael transitioned into the Community Association Department, where he draws upon his extensive practical litigation experience to advise and counsel clients in ways designed to avoid litigation or, if litigation is inevitable, to increase the likelihood of achieving favorable outcomes.
For each and every client, Michael personalizes the legal counseling he provides thereby ensuring it meets his clients’ needs and increases the lasting impact it has upon each Board Member. Michael prides himself on being both accessible and timely in responding to his clients’ inquiries.
As co-chair of the CAI Membership Committee and a member of the Chicago Bar Association’s Condominium Law Subcommittee, Michael is an active participant within the community association industry. In 2012, Michael was recognized in the Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine as an Illinois “Rising Star,” a recognition limited to less than 2.5% of lawyers under 40 years of age.
Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2005 and his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2002.
Michael resides in Glencoe with his wife, Gayle, daughter, Tayla, and their dog, appropriately named Barrister.
